Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data mylinq (mylinq.cc) collects, why, and the choices you have. It is issued by NXG Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Data we collect
When you create an account
- Account details: your email address and username. If you sign up with a password, we store only a secure one-way hash of it, never the password itself.
- Google sign-in: if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us.
- Profile content: the display name, bio, profile photo, links and theme you add. This content is public on your mylinq page.
When you subscribe to Pro
- Payments are handled by Razorpay. We receive and store only your subscription ID, its status and billing dates. Card, UPI and bank details go directly to Razorpay and are never stored by us.
When people visit a mylinq page
- To show page owners their analytics, we record each page view and link click with the time, the referring website and the visitor's country.
- We do not store visitors' IP addresses, names or emails with these records, and we do not use them to track people across other websites. Known bots and link-preview crawlers are not counted.
2. Cookies and local storage
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, plus security cookies used during sign-in. We save your light or dark mode choice in your browser's local storage. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how people find and use mylinq (pages visited, device type, approximate location and how they arrived). It gives us totals, not your identity. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
On mylinq's own pages (our website, sign-up and your dashboard) we also use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies so we can measure how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform: for example, that someone who saw an ad later visited, signed up or upgraded to Pro. Meta receives these events with technical data such as your IP address and browser details, and may connect them to your Meta account under its own privacy policy. We do not use the Meta Pixel on members' public pages, so people who visit a mylinq page are not tracked for our ads. We also send the same events (sign-up, checkout and payments, including monthly renewals) from our servers through Meta's Conversions API, with your email address in hashed (scrambled) form, your IP address and browser details, so they are measured accurately. You can control ad tracking in your Meta ad preferences or by blocking cookies.
3. How we use your data
- To create and run your account and public page;
- To process subscription payments and show your plan and billing status;
- To show you view and click analytics for your page;
- To send essential service emails (for example about your account, payments or changes to our terms);
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the service secure and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We use the Meta Pixel described above only to measure and improve our own ads; we never use your page, links or your visitors' data for advertising.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run mylinq, and only as much as they need:
- Razorpay for payment processing;
- Google for sign-in (if you use it), Google Cloud Storage for profile photos, and Google Analytics for site usage statistics;
- Meta (Meta Pixel) to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram;
- Resend to deliver emails such as account confirmation, welcome messages and analytics reports;
- MongoDB (our cloud database provider) for storing account data;
- Cloudflare for website hosting and security.
Some of these providers may process data outside India, under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose data if required by law or a valid order from a government authority.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, links and analytics within 30 days. We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually up to 8 years).
6. Your rights
You can:
- view and edit your profile and links at any time in your dashboard;
- ask for a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct or delete it;
- withdraw consent by deleting your account;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
To make a request, email support@mylinq.cc from your account's email address. We reply within 30 days.
7. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords, and limit who can access production data. No online service is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
8. Children
mylinq is not meant for children under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect children's data without that consent. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and we will email you about significant changes.
